It is the best for the stroll at the night of autumn.

Chinese Bon Festival

This is the Chinese Bon Festival when many Chinese assemble from all over Japan to comfort the souls of their ancestors.
The shrine precincts are decorated with exotic items from China.
The highlight is on the final day, when beautiful decorations of gold and silver mines are burned.

9 October and 10 October

The Autumn Festival is an annual festival of the Sakurayuama Hachimangu Shrine.The people who live in the northern half of downtown Takayama worship at this shrine.
